Sudbury School of Dance information page

Sudbury School of Dance provides a positive learning environment and excellent dance instruction for dancers ages 3 through adult. Each student is encouraged to reach their full potential, both creatively and technically. Young children receive a sound foundation in Russian style classical ballet and are later introduced to the other disciplines of dance that are offered at the studio.

Sudbury School of Dance was founded by Denise Vitali in 1984 and over the years has been home to countless dancers and their families.  Building on a long history of success, Denise and her faculty continue to provide quality dance instruction for students in Northern Ontario.  With an emphasis on ballet and modern, students can also take classes in jazz and have an opportunity to be part of the well-known performing group earthdancers.

Small class sizes and a family atmosphere contribute to the quality and essence of what the studio represents.  Whether dancers are looking for one class or many, they receive personal attention, encouragement to grow, and a focus on discipline and the beauty of the art of dance.  Students who wish to pursue their passion and further their dance studies are well prepared, with many students having gone on to studies and careers in dance, theatre and the arts.

"My daughter has been dancing at Sudbury School of Dance for five years, and we love it!  She always has fun, and the dances and costumes are both beautiful and age-appropriate.  Thanks Denise for such a lovely school!"     ~ Christina
