The leaves are beginning to fall and we have a lot happening here at the studio.
Thanks Giving
A long weekend to enjoy!
We will have classes on Friday October 10, then the school will be closed for the weekend, and classes will resume Tuesday October 14. We hope you all have a wonderful long weekend!

earthdancers have had their first meeting of the year, done their fall street clean up, and will be starting rehearsals after Thanks Giving, so if your child is joining the group this year, be sure to pop into the studio during regular class times to see the rehearsal times and dates posted on the wall beside the studio doors. We will make every effort to let you know about rehearsals through text and/or email, but every rehearsal is posted in the wall, so please come inside, say hello, and check the schedule.
Parent Committee Fall Fundraiser
You should have received your order form by the beginning of the month (If not, you can pick one up at the studio this week!) It’s a chance to stock up on some delicious staples for the busy holiday season. Please be sure to look it over, and if you are ordering anything, your order and payment must be returned to the studio or emailed to the parent committee on or before October 15. If you have any questions, please contact the parent committee at ssdparentcomittee@gmail.com
Halloween!!
Halloween falls on a Friday this year, and so we will not be holding any classes, either for students, or the adult Jazz class.
We still love the season, though, so please remember, if your child loves to dress up, we encourage them to wear their costume in week leading up to the 31st, and on Saturday, September 1.
Be sure that the costume will allow them to move freely, does not obstruct their view in any way, and has no tripping hazard like added appendages or trailing capes or dangling bits.
Otherwise, be creative, and have fun!
